My name is Karen, founder of The Shrubbery Soaps. The Shrubbery Soaps is a small family business located in beautiful countryside of Shrewsbury, Shropshire. I am dedicated nurse during the day and soap maker during the night. I embarked my remarkable journey in the soap business due to my unwavering passion for natural ingredients and my commitments to removing harsh chemicals from cosmetics. As a nurse, I had witnessed the detrimental effects that harsh chemical in cosmetics can have on peoples health. Determined to make a difference, I decided to take matters into my own hands and create a line of soaps that would be gentle, nourishing, and free from harmful additives.

I spent countless research and hours of hardworking, studying the benefits of various botanicals, essential oils, plant extracts, carefully selecting each component to ensure the highest quality and effectiveness. My creations cater to a wide range of customer preferences, offering a luxurious and indulgent bathing experience.  I also try to  source my ingredients from ethical suppliers which further reflects my commitment to promoting a healthier and more environmentally friendly lifestyle.
